Remembering Father Ted Kennedy

At St Vincent de Paul Church, Redfern Street, on Sunday 11am Mass, May 18, parishioners are commemorating the 20th anniversary of the death of Father Ted Kennedy, well known for his pastoral work and advocacy in Redfern (1971-2002).

Some footage of Ted and Coleen Shirley Smith (Mum Shirl) will be shown and morning tea provided. The St Vincent’s community acknowledges the support the South Sydney Uniting Church has given at crucial times in the past, a much-appreciated sign of ecumenical solidarity.
