About

The South Sydney Herald (SSH) is a monthly newspaper published by the South Sydney Uniting Church (56a Raglan St Waterloo NSW 2017; ABN 98 967 799 049). The SSH features stories of relevance to local residents, and is one of the few independent papers in Sydney. The SSH relies upon and appreciates volunteer writers, visual artists/photographers and distributors. Please contact us if you’d like to get involved.

First published in 2002, the SSH was founded by Trevor Davies (1956-2011), who had previously edited the Redfern-Chippo Herald, the Chippo News, the Roadrunner, and the Chippo Politics Newsletter.
