‘Pod Vita’

First light of the morning upon this great estate
The sun’s golden fingers caress my face
Rolling through the soil on a silky breeze,
A dreamer’s life begins with a tiny seed.

He’s my believer, healing all my doubts,
Many likened mirrors reflecting out.
Light rain potential, bed-rock belief,
Ostentatious design sets this pod free.

Elements ancestral handed down in natura,
Germination rainbow, the release tactility,
Ancient acts re-enacted, the husks fall away
Picture-perfect colours, now I’m truly free.

Quotidian in the sunset, cool afternoon June,
We all begin to sing and enjoy the tune.
Starry realm calling as birds lodge in their trees,
Algid of night arrests us in the dreamer’s field.
