Whether you’re just starting your university journey, looking to transfer and build your knowledge and skills in a new course or changing your career direction, Open Day is your chance to discover more about our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, people and facilities, and see what your future might look like as a University of Sydney student.

Plan your day

Download the University of Sydney Open Day App to access the full program of events, tours and entertainment, and create a personalised schedule to ensure you don’t miss a thing. Choose from over 170 mini lectures, have fun with hands-on activities, join a tour to see where you could be studying and get your questions answered at our course advice centres.

Join a campus tour

Our amazing campus is something we are proud of, and our facilities are some of the best in the world. Taking a campus tour is the best way to navigate your way around the University, become familiar with support services, and get some snaps of the most beautiful spots on campus.

Make new connections

Making new friends is a daunting part of starting university, but Open Day is a great way to meet new people. Make connections with like-minded people by taking part in hands-on fun activities, or spark up conversations with representatives from some of our 200 university clubs and societies there on the day.

Get personalised advice

Follow your interests across various disciplines, learn about admissions pathways and how to combine study with travel. Visit the “Plan your degree” zone in the Quadrangle or a course advice centre to find out how you can structure your own degree and personalise your experience at the University of Sydney.

Explore accommodation options

Have your questions answered by the Student Accommodation Services team so that you can be across the cost, location, scholarship options and application deadlines for on- and off- campus living. There will also be accommodation tours running at Open Day, to see firsthand all of the options available.

University is more than what happens in the classroom. Explore all your interests and personalise your study experience at the University of Sydney Open Day, Saturday August 25.
