Aboriginal housing in Redfern

I never left because I loved the open minds of my neighbors, who soon became my friends. Mick Mundine and the Pemulwuy project are an inspiration! It is imperative that Aboriginal housing remains here in Redfern in the centre of Sydney, coupled with a cultural hub! To be pushed out is to marginalise the community further. It is important that the Aboriginal community is self-determined! What better way than to make use of their most valuable asset, their land. Student housing is perfect, the University of Sydney offers our community a valuable avenue in business. You’d be bloody barmy not to use it!
