Welcome back to another year of the South Sydney Herald, still being published in our 23rd year, thanks to your support and readership.
In the Chinese calendar this is the Year of the Wood Dragon and according to tradition will herald authority, prosperity and good fortune. Those born in a year of the Dragon (that is, every 12th year since 1916) possess a captivating demeanour, distinct personality and strong leadership abilities. Lucky colours are gold, yellow and green, so here’s a hope that this bodes well for our country this year.
Need tech help with your devices and fed up waiting for hours for someone to assist you? Help is at hand thanks to the City of Sydney. Computer, tablet and mobile phone help is available: Ron Williams Community Centre, 5-11 Kepos Street, Redfern every Friday until December 13, 2024 (except March 8 and 24) from 1.15pm to 3pm. Also available Mondays from 10-11am until December at Cliff Noble Community Centre, Alexandria. Don’t let those niggling little tech problems stop you from enjoying access to friends and information.
