We have a new website!

The South Sydney Herald launched its new website www.southsydneyherald.com.au in September.

Rob Young from Gasoline worked closely with members of the SSH working group to design a dynamic, accessible and contemporary site optimised for all devices.

The strong publishing platform is easy to navigate via four main categories: News, Opinion, Culture and Sport. Subsections within these categories include Environment, Education, Human Affairs, Politics, Locals, Urban Design, First Peoples, Art, Exhibitions, Festivals, Food, Faith, Health and more.

Our content editors’ names are shown at the top of their respective (colour-coded) category pages, and our SSH Instagram feed appears at the bottom of the website, immediately above a complete contact list.

Pickup points across the distribution area are also listed.

The new site provides advertisers with great opportunities to reach SSH readers, with Top Banner and Side Bar spaces available for online advertisements at competitive prices. If you want to promote your product, organisation or event, please use the Advertising link at the bottom of the website to find rate cards and contact details for our Advertising Manager, Felipe Vilches.

SSH Managing Editor Marjorie Lewis-Jones believes the new site will expand the paper’s reach and strengthen its reputation.

“We know many of our regular readers still enjoy the monthly print edition of the paper, which is excellent. Happily, the new website gives us scope to carry more stories online more often, which will attract a wider readership.”
