‘State of Grace’

Fifty times seven
I look for you in the crowd
Music playing loud

Farther than dreaming
Never let me leave your sight
Never leave my sight

A state of grace – eyes that shine
A state of grace – yours and mine

Three for the spirit
Five for the mystic body
Saying look for me

He keeps watch again
You were anxious too
I can make it through

A state of grace – hide and seek
A state of grace – words to speak

Three-fifty glances
In another time I’m ten
Mesmerised again

Too much sun to see
How the crowd becomes a sea
Seven times fifty

A state of grace – my blindness
A loving-kindness
