If you were craving a sugar hit from Redfern favourite Donut Papi, you’ll know it has now been replaced by a new establishment, Pure Dumplings.
On my first visit, I found the dumplings alone a little doughy and heavy for my liking.
On my second visit, one cool, wet evening, I went for the ‘hot and sour’ soup dumplings, which were silky and much more enjoyable.
The menu offers a variety of fillings and the option of takeaway frozen trays to cater for your ‘dumplings and chill’ lazy weekends. It’s definitely worth a try.
