Sleeping out for Vinnies

The following morning, I got to go home, jump into a hot shower, see my better half and have a decent breakfast, but sadly this is not the case for over 105,000 people who have nowhere to call home any day of the year. That’s why I support this cause.

In addition to the experience, I had a chance to meet with some of the state’s top business leaders and to share with them some of what we’ve seen and heard about homelessness as community workers at The Factory. It was a privilege that two of Vinnies’ “success stories” were also clients of ours, and to see their stories shared reminded me why we wrestle with the work we do day in and day out. Maria’s Story can be seen here on YouTube

Thank you to all my good friends who supported my participation this year. It is appreciated, as always. So far we have managed to raise over $900. Donations can still be made here.

Your support is appreciated. It will and does make a difference.
