Sitting outdoors – a beautiful experience

A bit of winter sun is good for your health. It helps your body produce Vitamin D and creates other processes in the body such as serotonin and dopamine.

If you sit in the sun for a while in a natural setting like a park, that’s even better. Sitting mindfully breathing in the natural light and trying to be present in the moment is good for your health and good for your soul.

Redfern Park, Prince Alfred Park, Centennial Park and Sydney Park all have beautiful natural settings where you can watch the people pass by and eat your lunch or grab a coffee and sit quietly for 10-20 minutes in the sun, breathe deeply and let the health benefits fill you up.
