Peace prize for commitment to women’s rights

The 2023 Sydney Peace Prize was awarded to Nazanin Boniadi at a ceremony at Sydney Town Hall on November 2.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore presented the award to Ms Boniadi, an Iranian-born human rights activist and actress, in recognition of her commitment to advancing women’s rights in Iran.
