Youth opera company for social justice

The Cooperative’s performances of Puccini’s Tosca at Pitt Street Uniting Church on June 17 and 19 drew large audiences.

Rebecca Moret (pictured) played the lead role. The youth opera company received $2,867 in pay-as-you-feel entry donations at the door and online, which it will donate to two First Nations-governed organisations working for justice reform – the Aboriginal Legal Service and Change the Record.

See www.thecooperativeopera.org for productions, bookings and donations.
