Write for Rights: Letters for the Brave

Saturday December 8, 11am-12pm at Carriageworks

This collaboration between Amnesty International Australia and Carriageworks celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

Every year people from 200 countries write letters in support of people who have suffered terrible human rights abuses. In conjunction with Nick Cave’s Until, Amnesty asks visitors to put pen to paper to help change lives. Your letters will form part of the exhibition before being sent on to their destination. This will be a unique experience but as spaces are limited booking is essential on https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/write-for-rights-2018-letters-for-the-brave-registration-52331732621.
